Dell announces XPS 13 2-in-1 laptop with detachable keyboard

This summer, Dell will begin selling the XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid laptop that can be used in both laptop and tablet modes. The gadget is equipped with a 13-inch touch screen with a resolution of 2880 × 1920 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2. There is a protective glass Gorilla Glass 7. You can interact with the panel with your fingers and with a special pen. By detaching the keyboard, you can transform the device into a tablet.

XPS 13 2-in-1 uses Intel Alder Lake-U chips. In particular, a Core i7-1250U processor with ten cores can be installed - two productive and eight energy efficient. The clock frequency reaches 4.7 GHz. Graphics processing is occupied by the built-in Intel Iris Xe accelerator. The amount of RAM LPDDR4x-4266 can be 8 or 16 GB, the capacity of a solid-state drive with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface is from 256 GB to 1 TB. There are two Thunderbolt 4 interfaces.

The computer is equipped with an 11-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera and a 0.3-megapixel infrared camera. There are Killer WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 adapters, and a 5G modem can be additionally installed. In addition, a fingerprint scanner is mentioned. The tablet weighs 736g, the keyboard with cover is 560g.
