The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 will allegedly include a small battery upgrade, according to a prior leak. The actual batteries have now been photographed and it turns out that the upgrade will be greater than anticipated. There are two batteries: one made by Samsung SDI has a rated capacity of 2,555mAh, while the other is 1,040mAh. This adds up to 3,595mAh rated capacity but actual capacity may be labeled as 3,700mAh. That's 400mAh more than the Z Flip3's battery or a 12% increase in capacity.

It's not a lot, but it isn't nothing, considering that 3D renders show the phone will be roughly the same size (a little thicker – 7.2mm instead of 6.9mm). It also has the same battery capacity as the Galaxy S22.

According to rumors, the Galaxy Z Flip4 will receive another upgrade - charging speed will be increased to 25W (from 15W on the Z Flip3). This also corresponds with the S22. Live photos of the new Flip were leaked earlier today, revealing a bigger cover display and a redesigned hinge. The Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 are anticipated to be unveiled in early August, but Samsung has already started production process leaks that have resulted from it.
