Amazon released Fire TV Stick Lite 2022 with shortcut keys and Alexa voice remote

The Amazon Fire Stick Lite 2022 is a less expensive version of the standard Amazon Fire TV Stick. It has the same shape as the original one from 2020, but it comes with a new Alexa Voice Remote Lite that allows you to switch between apps using voice commands. The remote control has shortcuts for Prime Video, Netflix, Amazon Music, and Apps. The FHD video playback and HDR technology of the Amazon Fire Stick Lite connect to TVs via an HDMI port. According to its makers, this device delivers an immersive viewing experience. The Amazon Fire Stick Lite’s remote control has a Blue shortcut button to launch Alexa for a hands-free voice search.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick supports high-definition (FHD) video playback with HDR technology. It has 8GB of built-in storage and is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor with IMG GE8300 GPU. The Alexa Remote Lite contains dedicated buttons for popular streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Prime Music, as well as a new Blue button to call Alexa. Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 5.0, an HDMI port, and a micro-USB port are the connectivity options on the stick.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite 2022 is priced at around $40 in India.
