The third generation of Motorola's foldable phone is in the works, and we're going to call it Razr 3. This was briefly shown in a short video, as well as some of its features. But what about pricing?

Finally, we know the price. According to a recently trustworthy source, the Razr 3 will cost €1,149 in the EU. This indicates that when it arrives in Europe, the Razr 3 will be less expensive than the original Razr 5G was at €1,399.

Not just that, but the Razr 3 has long been anticipated to be a high-end foldable, so it's more affordable than its predecessor yet boasts superior features! That's not something we've seen very often during this year, so if this news proves true, it appears rather interesting.

At $100, the new Razr 3 is a complete bargain. It's also worth noting that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip4 will compete with this model and if it costs the same at launch, it will be €100 cheaper than the previous model. The Z Flip3 is currently the most popular foldable on record, which means that Samsung's alternative may have some cachet in its rivalry with the Razr.

The head-turning Razr 3 will be available in just one hue at first, according to a report from SamMobile. The Samsung Z Flip4 is also expected to have several color schemes, which would likely stand out against the Razr 3's Quartz Black finish.

According to previous reports, the Razr 3 will feature a 6.7" internal screen and a 3" external display - most likely matching the comparable of the Flip4 in terms of size but vastly outclassing it in terms of resolution. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is expected to run things at play, accompanied by 12GB RAM and 512GB storage (which makes the difference between these two more tolerable as compared to that of the entry-level version of the Flip4).
