Sergey Potapenko decided to put a “wooden” installation on the car. Finely chopped wood is used as fuel. The car has been running on wood for two months.

The experimental setup replaced the gas one. Now the car can drive both gasoline and wood. According to the car enthusiast, the power reserve depends on the tree. Poplar provides about 60 km, and oak, birch and ash - up to 100 km.

After setting fire to a tree, you will have to wait about 15 minutes before setting off. If you need to go urgently, you can start a car on gasoline, and then switch to using firewood. The installation rests on the towbar, and it takes up to 20 minutes to dismantle it.

Sergey Potapenko says that he spent 8,000 UAH to buy firewood. This is enough for him for a year. It is also possible to drive on public roads in such a car, but first it must be registered at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. For unauthorized re-equipment of a car, a fine of 340 UAH is provided.
