Chris Pratt claims that his Mario voice is unique

Chris Pratt, will voice the plumber Mario in a future cartoon. In a conversation with Variery, the actor stated that his performance will be different from what we have heard before. 

Here is what Pratt said: 

"I've worked very well with directors, and I've tried different things, and I've focused on what I'm very proud of. I can't wait for people to see and hear. This is a behind-the-scenes cartoon. It's not a film with live actors. I won't run in a plumber costume. I voice an animated character and it's an updated voice, unlike anything you've heard about Mario before. "
