ASUS ROG Phone 6 Press Renders Leaked Along with few Accessories
On July 5, Asus will release the ROG (Republic of Gamers) Phone 6, and we believe it will be one of the first phones with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU. We already saw the design on TENAA, but a fresh leak today essentially confirmed it. It also provided a sneak peek of the new AeroActive cooler and a protective case that wraps around the camera.
The top bezel is thick and has room for the front-facing camera, so the phone will adhere to its proclivity of no notches or punch holes. It's also strategically positioned to avoid unwanted clicks if the screen was fully up/down side.
On the left-hand side, you'll find a USB connection and a SIM card slot, while on the right is dedicated to shoulder triggers. The camera arrangement includes three cameras with a single LED flash, but this functionality is not commonly utilized by individuals who participate in gaming activities.
There are other more significant characteristics on this phone, such as the additional keys on the back that come with the AeroActive cooler. The accessory is a lot more different than its predecessors, which were meant for the ROG Phone 5 and 5s series, but it retains one of the key features: two clickable buttons on both sides of the fan.
The rear panel and several of the buttons are exposed, which makes us believe it is there for better grip during gaming rather than to protect the ROG Phone 6. The chipset may be confirmed, but we don't know much else about the Asus ROG Phone 6 before its official unveiling on July 5, including if the rapid charging will get even quicker and if the battery will grow larger, or at least more durable.
