Quantic Lab  - a company that helped control quality Cyberpunk 2077. Recently on the Web material appeared with comments from one of the employees saying that Quantic Lab used dubious practices and even fooled around CD Projekt RED. Now the head of the organization outlined the official position on this issue.

President's words Quantic Lab Stefan Seicarescu to suggest VGC. The company representative voiced the following theses:

  • Quantic Lab always strives for transparency and teamwork when working with partners.
  • There are inaccuracies in the indictment material about how it works Quantic Lab. According Seikarescu, it shows that the author of the video has a poor understanding of exactly what the video game quality control process looks like.
  • Usually, publishers with a global name cooperate with several testing companies at the same time, and also have internal quality control. Probably hints Seikarescu, it is unreasonable to transfer responsibility for the condition Cyberpunk 2077 only on  Quantic Lab.
  • Quantic Lab has three offices in Romania, where more than 400 people work. The company has 60 active clients, and the total number of projects can exceed 200 pieces per year. However, it is not entirely clear what Seikarescu tried to say with these statistics.

Denial of specific allegations Seikarescu did not give For example, the article said that the team of testers Cyberpunk 2077 in  Quantic Lab consisted mainly of untrained "juniors", and at some point they tried to solve the labor shortage by recruiting people with zero experience for the announcement.

VGC has sought an official response from  CD Projekt RED, but a representative of the studio declined to comment. Employees' opinions on this matter CDPR voiced anonymously: as and  Seikarescu, they assumed that the author of the material had a poor understanding of the intricacies of quality control and again emphasized - in the problems Cyberpunk 2077 management is primarily to blame CD Projekt RED.
