Project Warlock II boomer shooter support plan: new enemies, levels and more
This month is a retro shooter Project Warlock II started in early access on PC. Now the studio staff Buckshot Software told how work on the game is progressing and what novelties are planned for 2022.
According to the authors, before the release Project Warlock II in early access, they spent over six months of playtesting with internal and external QA teams, Kickstarter backers, and select users from Discord. With the launch of the early version, the studio received a lot of fresh feedback. In real time, the developers are trying to find a balance between new ideas, development of the concept of the original game and satisfaction of the requests of the community.
Support plan Project Warlock II for this year it now looks like this:
- Interface redesign
- Photo mode
- Mutators for company starring Palmer
- Reworked levels and graphics
- New weapon models and upgrades
- Single level mode
- Regular fixes based on community feedback
- Additional music tracks
- Additional difficulty levels and balance improvements
- Release of the second episode
The road map will be gradually updated until the end of the year, and then the next one will be rolled out. Since the action game is in early access, every aspect of it is subject to change, the authors warn.
