Ukrainian project "Army of Drones" raised millions of hryvnias in 24 hours and received the first drones
Last week, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine announced the launch of the project "Army of Drones". The first results were not long in coming.
What we know
The project was launched on July 1. It was created by the Ministry of Digital Transformation together with the platform UNITED 24 and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. on July 2, the Minister Mykhailo Fedorov wrote that the first drones have already been received. The number is not specified.
"Only on Friday we together with the General Staff and UNITED24 announced the Drone Army and asked you to "dronate", that is, to transfer your drone for the needs of the AFU, and already on Saturday you sent us through the New Post office the first "birds". Thanks to everyone! All the drones will go to the battlefront and help our defenders," - Mykhailo Fedorov
In addition, the "Drone Army" project has already raised several million hryvnias (UAH). Mykhailo Fedorov asks to send ideas and proposals on development and repair of drones, as well as on training of UAV operators.
