The Ukrainian Armed Forces received the Furya unmanned aircraft system, for which Ukrainians raised $143,000
Volunteer Serhiy Prytula reported on the transfer of the Furya unmanned aerial system to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
What we know
Ukrainians transferred almost 4 300 000 UAH or $143 000 for the purchase of drones. One complex includes three drones. They are used to correct artillery fire and reconnaissance from the air.
The drones were developed in Ukraine in 2014. As of 2021, Atlon Avia has produced more than a hundred aircraft complexes. In addition to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, drones are used by the Security Service and National Guard.
Furya can reach speeds of up to 130 km/h. The combat radius of the UAV is 50 km. The electric propulsion system paired with a 32 000 mA*h battery (two 16 000 mA*h) allows the drone to remain airborne for three hours.
In addition to the three drones, the complex includes three daytime and two nighttime payload modules, a ground control station, antennas and additional equipment. The maximum takeoff weight of Furya UAV is 5.5 kg.
