German KF41 Lynx BMP destroys target with Spike anti-tank missile (video)
The German company Rheinmetall tested the KF41 Lynx infantry fighting vehicle with Spike anti-tank missiles.
What is known
The BMP was introduced in 2018. Rheinmetall has spent several years integrating Spike anti-tank guided missiles. The developer published a video showing the destruction of a target with the new weapon.
The Spike anti-tank guided missile is used to defeat armored vehicles, fortifications and manpower. The range of fire is from 0.2 to 5 km. The anti-tank missile system is also used in ships, helicopters and is available in a portable version.
As for the BMP KF41 Lynx, its main armament is the LANCE turret, equipped with a cannon and launcher for anti-tank missiles caliber 30 mm or 35 mm. The troop compartment accommodates 12 troops, including three crew members.
