Hypercharge: Unboxed - a shooter about toy men, which was released a few years ago, received good reviews, but could not attract the attention of a large number of people. Now fate gives the game a second chance: it unexpectedly went viral on the Internet and began to collect millions of views.

The main gameplay of Hypercharfe: Unbodex consists in building defensive structures and fending off waves of enemies in the surroundings of ordinary life: in the backyard, in the garage, in the kitchen, and so on. All characters are toy figures that can be customized. There is a single mode, co-op for up to four people and PvP for eight.

Separately, creators from Digital Cybercherries note, opposing the pay-to-win system in games and expensive DLC. Hypercharge doesn't really have all of that: only one cosmetic pack can be purchased from add-ons, as well as a pack for those who want to support the studio and soundtrack.

Since 2017, Hypercharge has been in early access, and in April 2020 it reached the release. It has received its share of recognition: it has 91% positive reviews on Steam and several awards, including "Indie rock" with the Indie DB version and a grant from Epic Games. But commercial success, judging from the same page in Steam, never came: there were few reviews - less than 2,000, and the simultaneous online did not exceed 1,000 people. Hypercharge was also released on Switch, but the release went unnoticed there as well.

Now Digital Cybercherries has planned an Xbox port, and has started posting GIFs of the gameplay in theirs Twitter, and suddenly the game shot! Here is this post  appeared on July 3 and at the time of writing the news collected 14.3 million views. For comparison: trailer from August 2021, which is embedded on the game's official page, has collected only 50,000 views in almost a year.
