Native versions of Biomutant for PS5 and Xbox Series will appear on September 6

Biomutant on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series has been playable since release, but native versions for the current generation are presented only now. THQ Nordic and Experiment 101 will release them in early fall.

The developers will add support for HDR, 4K resolution and an increased number of frames per second. Few details about the new versions:

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X

  • Quality mode: 30 fps in 4K resolution.
  • Enhanced Quality mode: 50-60 fps in resolutions up to 4K.
  • Performance mode: 60 fps at 1440p resolution.
  • For PS5: Support for DualSense features and activity cards.

Xbox Series S

  • Quality mode: 30 fps at 1440p resolution.
  • Enhanced Quality mode: 50-60 fps at 1440p resolution.
  • Productivity mode: 60 fps at 1080p resolution.

Own versions of Biomutant for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series will be released on September 6. You will not have to pay for an upgrade from PS4 and Xbox One. Previously created save files are rolled over to new editions.
