Announcement of The Division Resurgence - a third-person shooter for phones

Ubisoft is preparing the announcement of a mobile game in the Tom Clancy's The Division series. The company officially presented third-person shooter - it was called The Division Resurgence.

The game is set in New York after a virus outbreak, just like the previous two installments of The Division. According to the developers, the plot of Resurgence will allow you to look at the key events of the series from a different angle.

By releasing The Division Resurgence on phones, Ubisoft hopes to introduce more people to its shooter series. "We are very fortunate that the mobile segment has evolved to the point where we can develop such an ambitious game."  says the team.

Among the features of the novelty are:

• Interface and controls that provide a pleasant gaming experience.
• Single or cooperative playthrough.
• An open world with high-quality graphics, filled not only with story tasks, but also with various activities.
• Hero development to improve skills and unlock unique weapons and gadgets.
• Customization of your character's equipment with a large arsenal.

The Division Resurgence is going to be distributed in a free-to-play model on iOS and Android. There is no release date yet. You can try your luck and apply for alpha testing of the shooter.
