For the first time in a long time Ubisoft showed Skull&Bones - pirate action, the events of which take place in the Indian Ocean at the end of the 17th century.

Basic details

  • After being shipwrecked, you start the game in St. Ann - a pirate's lair. In such hubs, you can stock up on everything you need for an expedition, create ships and equipment, take contracts and communicate with other players.
  • Your team can riot if you don't feed them well and don't maintain morale properly.
  • If the ship sinks, you'll lose some of your progress and respawn at the lair or outpost you found. Most of the equipment will be saved, and the rest will wait at the place of death - if it is not picked up by other players.
  • Bad fame is an indicator of your reputation. The higher it is, the more options are available to you. It can be increased in many ways, including completing contracts, exploring the world, looting, finding treasures, and participating in events.
  • Resources are mined directly from the ship. For example, aquatic animals will have to be killed manually, and ore and wood must be collected with the help of a mini-game.
  • Crafting requires not only resources, but also blueprints. Among other things, you can craft ships, armor, and weapons, including a flamethrower and ballista.
  • There are 12 types of ships, of which Ubisoft named three: cargo - slow, but can hold a lot of things, reconnaissance - fast, but small and fragile, combat - powerful, but clumsy.
  • You can play alone, but the developers lean towards cooperative. There will also be PvP. Claimed cross-play between all platforms.
  • Both the ship and the character will be subject to cosmetic customization.
  • They plan to support the game with content for many years after the release.
