Beyerdynamic launches its first true wireless earbuds Free Byrd
Beyerdynamic is one of the latest audio equipment businesses to release true wireless earbuds. The firm's first such buds are called Free Byrd, and they have 10mm drivers, active noise cancellation, and an audio passthrough function. According to Beyerdynamic, you'll be able to listen for up to 11 hours on a single charge. In the earbuds' case, Beyerdynamic claims you'll be able to listen for up to 70 minutes beyond 10 minutes of charging time.
Each earbud has two microphones. As long as Beyerdynamic delivers on its promise of capturing high-quality speech intelligibility "even in a noisy environment," your voice should be audible on calls. The Free Byrd is compatible with Fast Pair on Android, and it's Alexa and Siri enabled. Expect a low-latency mode for games and videos as well.
The Gryffin Freedom Byrd comes with five pairs of silicone earpieces to assist you in selecting the most suitable fit. For workouts, there are also three memory-foam earphones available. The waterproof buds have IPX4 water splash protection, as well.
On paper, there isn't much here that distinguishes Free Byrd from the crowd. Despite this, they're the first true wireless Beyerdynamic earphones with a track record for quality audio. The cost of a pair of Free Byrd headphones is $249.
