SpaceX showed the Starship prototype on the launch pad a few days before its first orbital flight

SpaceX continues preparations for the first-ever test orbital flight of the Starship.

What's known

The U.S. corporation may make its first test orbital flight by the end of July. The prototype Starship has already appeared at the South Texas launch site. It has been named Ship 24.

Previously SpaceX has tested spacecraft prototypes, but they have not yet entered orbit. To launch Ship 24 will be used super heavy rocket Booster 7. It, too, has already been sent to the launch pad.
