In an interview with the portal VG247, the producer of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhint David Sirland said that the team will move away from the usual system of seasons. Simple upgrades, he says, open up more room for maneuver:

"When we released the game, we introduced a standard twelve-week season with a hundred-level battle pass at the same cost as the competition. But we realized pretty quickly that the team couldn't sustain that model. Besides, it hurts us, because the content patch doesn't allow us to release faster gameplay updates and edit key aspects of the game, which is often requested by our users."

So now Sharkmob is moving to a monthly update model. Bug fixes and other fixes will not be associated with content updates - they will be released separately.

What else Sharkmob is working on:

  • Experiments with the price of the combat pass and its size. It seems that it will become smaller, but it will come out more often.
  • Updates Bloodhunt's internal systems to speed up content production for game characters.
  • Improves controller support.

We also talked about the summer update and content for it. Battle Royale will be getting a new mode, battle pass, and more next week. The update will disable cross-play by default - gamers on PS5 will be able to isolate themselves from PC-boyars or not disagree with them.
