YouTube makes it simpler to manage and reorder playlists on mobile
If you're a Premium member, you gain access to several innovative new features, including more options for YouTube playlist management and video re-ordering on mobile. The "Playlist reorder & hide" option has recently been added to the dedicated portal for all YouTube tests, allowing you to have even quicker access to playlist management options right from the Watch Page. If you listen or watch a lot of videos frequently, this may be useful when deciding how to prioritize specific material or simply conceal them before playing.
Users may rearrange and hide videos from any playlist while on the Watch Page. During playback, hidden movies will be skipped. Playlist management on YouTube for mobile hasn't ever been a pleasurable experience. It has gotten better in recent years, but if you have a Premium membership, activating the option gives you even more options. You'll be able to drag videos within the dedicated playlist panel right from the watch page, allowing you to rearrange things on the go with ease. You may hide content by swiping left on the video from the playlist panel. Alternatively, tap the three-dot menu and choose "Hide."
How to use it. To reorder the videos in a playlist, drag them within the playlist panel on the watch page. By swiping left on the video item or tapping on the "Hide" option within the video three dot menu, you may hide any video from the playlist panel.
As with most YouTube tests, Premium subscribers are the only ones who can use the enhanced playlist management tools. However, that does not indicate that this will continue to be so. Features are frequently made available to paid plan customers before being released to everyone at a later date. For reference, August 11 is the end date for this YouTube test. It's unclear if or when it'll be accessible to non-Premium YouTube users after this date; however, it's important to remember that it's presently iOS and Android-only.
