Xiaomi earlier this year introduced smartphones Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Gaming, and is now working on a new lineup model.

The head of the brand Lu Weibing (Lu Weibing) announced. The novelty boasts the current flagship processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

Recall that the SoC was introduced in May. It differs from the usual version by the increased clock frequency of the cores. According to manufacturer, the chip is 10% more productive and 30% more energy efficient than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Unfortunately, other details about the new smartphone are not available yet. Also no one knows when its presentation will take place. We can only assume that it will be Redmi K50S or Redmi K50 Ultra.
