Techland studio recently released another patch for Dying Light 2 Stay Human. A YouTuber with the nickname Bub has dug into the update files and seems to have found out details about the upcoming paid DLC for the zombie action game.

Here's what we managed to find in the depths of the update:

  • The files contain a new location, unfinished dialogues and even animated storyboards of fresh cutscenes.
  • Judging by the datamine, a lot of attention in the DLC will be paid to gladiatorial battles.
  • One of the locations is a large opera building consisting of several floors. There is a prison in the basement of the building.
  • Other locations include Astrid's office, a church, and a subway station. These zones seem to be mentioned only in the text - no visuals have been found yet.
  • Most of the expansion files look unfinished - yes, the dialogues are mainly presented in the form of low-quality recordings in Polish. Although, it is possible that outdated files got into the patch.
  • New gesture animations may be planned.
  • 2,000 new dialogue lines and two endings have already been found in the files - obviously, the addition will be large-scale.

As a reminder, the story DLC for Dying Light 2 was supposed to start in June, but Techland postponed the release to September.
