Moto Razr 2022 launch may be delayed
Motorola is expected to release a 200MP camera-equipped Edge X30 Pro/Edge 30 Ultra smartphone this month. We also anticipated to learn more about the Razr 2022's arrival during the event, but reports from China indicate that the clamshell has been delayed and there is no new date for arrival provided. The Moto Razr 2022 was already verified to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor by company officials. We anticipate a minor change in design, with an even bigger cover screen and better cameras - 50MP primary and 32MP on the inside - added.
The original Razr smartphone was released in fall 2019, with a 5G version debuting a year later. However, none of the smartphones had genuine flagship internals at the time, which may have contributed to their limited sales. Obviously, the fact that the handsets weren't available in great quantities was the main cause, but as they weren't free of fans, this will remain uncertain. We'll have to wait and see whether this continues with the 2022 edition of the Razr when it comes out.
