The U.S. Department of Defense has created All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office.

What we know

The new agency will investigate unidentified aerial phenomena. Previously they were called unidentified flying objects, i.e. UFOs. This was announced by Kathleen Hicks - deputy of Lloyd Austin (the Head of Pentagon).

The U.S. Department of Defense regularly received reports of incursions of both identified and unidentified objects into territories controlled by the military. Each incident was studied in detail because any such incursion could pose a threat to U.S. national security.

"All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office will synchronize the joint work of the Pentagon and other U.S. departments. The goal is to find, identify and classify objects that would be of interest to the agencies. We are talking about objects that will appear in areas under the responsibility of the American military.
