On September 6, Circus Electrique will be released - a steampunk circus in the spirit of Darkest Dungeon
Publisher Saber Interactive and studio Zen describe Circus Electrique as a mixture of story RPG, strategy and circus management simulator, all in a steampunk shell. In terms of gameplay, the game resembles Darkest Dungeon.
The tie-in sounds like this:
"Ordinary residents of London have suddenly turned into terrible killers, and only talented circus artists can stop this madness."
You will fight in turn-based mode with crazy policemen, crazy sailors, aggressive fifas and other creatures of the Victorian era. The success of the battle is influenced by the loyalty system, which is also indicated by the circus performances of your subordinates.
Other features of Circus Electrique:
- 15 character archetypes, including strongman, patroness of fire, escapist and clown.
- Circus management. You have to hire and train artists. The success of the production depends on their skills, relationships with each other, and loyalty to you. Among other things, the money will be used to pay the salaries of the actors.
- An unusual world that was inspired by vintage circus posters of the Victorian era and classic steampunk.
Circus Electrique is coming to PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch on September 6th.
