Throughout the Dungeons & Dragons universe, a lot of books and video games were released, but everything is sad with the films: the 2000 film adaptation failed, after which two more tapes were released immediately on DVD. Paramount Pictures will attempt to remedy the situation with a Dungeons & Dragons film reboot.

The new movie is subtitled Honor Among Thieves. The synopsis reads as follows:

"A magical thief and a gang of random adventurers embark on a grand heist to retrieve a lost relic. But things go awry when they run into the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary role-playing game to the big screen in a fun and exciting adventure."

Starring:

  • Chris Pine - Kirk from the last three Star Treks, Steve Trevor from Wonder Woman.
  • Michelle Rodriguez - Letty from "The Fast and the Furious", Rayne from "Resident Evil" in 2002.
  • Sophia Lillis - young Beverly Marsh from the "It" dilogy.
  • Regé-Jean Page - Captain Khora from "Chronicles of Predatory Cities".

They act as directors and screenwriters John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. This duo filmed "Night Games" and wrote the script for "Insufferable Bosses".

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves to be in theaters in March 2023.
