July 20, Minecraft developer Mojang published statement on banning Blockchain and NFT technologies. After such a decision, users asked the boss of Epic Games - Tim Sweeny, whether the company will continue to support technology development. Judging by answers, the position of "epics" in this situation remains unchanged.

The manager believes that it is wrong to interfere in the development and limit the will of the authors:

Developers should be able to decide how to make their own games, and you should be able to decide whether to play them. I believe that stores and operating system manufacturers should not interfere by forcing their point of view on others. We will definitely not do this.

It is interesting that when Valve banned games related to blockchain, cryptocurrency or NFT from being placed on Steam, Epic Games, on the contrary, started inviting such projects to its store.
