There will be no Joker in Gotham Knights, but Harley Quinn has a chance
Another Comic Con is taking place in San Diego right now, so fans have an opportunity to ask the creators their questions. Answering more than one of these questions, Patrick Redding, creative director of Gotham Knights, stated, that the Joker will not please fans with his presence in the action from Warner Bros. Games.
The cult thief will definitely not be there, but to the same question about Harley Quinn, he issued: "I'm not going to confirm or deny if Harley will be there." - thereby hinting at the possible participation of the heroine in the plot.
As for Batman's death in the game, the executive insists that it is true after all. He dies at the beginning of the game and stays in the grave until the very end. He also added that the action has "just one question mark" from the Riddler.
Also, in particular, the team shared a fresh trailer for the game - it is dedicated to Batgirl and her fighting skills. The heroine skilfully pierces the skulls of enemies with a baton, canonical "Beth-shurikens" and modernized nunchucks.
Gotham Knights is set for release on October 25th. Supported platforms include PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
