Larian invites players to playtest the second and third acts of Baldur's Gate III
Baldur's Gate III in early access only offers the first act of the story campaign - the rest of the content will be officially presented with the release. However, particularly lucky players will still be able to try Acts 2 and 3 early if they make it to the Larian Studios offices.
An announcement about tests among third-party users appeared on the company's website. The conditions are as follows:
- Participants will be given a taste of the second and third acts of Baldur's Gate III.
- RPG fans of any genre experience are welcome. Applicants must be of legal age, have a good command of English and be able to describe their impressions.
- Tests are conducted only at Larian offices (Belgium, Canada, Spain and Malaysia) and require the signing of a non-disclosure agreement.
- At least one full working day must be set aside for the tests.
Larian promises rewards for participation. These vary by region and can include cash, gift cards, game keys and souvenirs. The reward is specified in the letter sent to those who have passed the selection of playtesters.
As the developers emphasize, the playtesters currently recruited on the side are not quality control staff. Larian has a dedicated full-time staff of professional testers. Apparently, guest playtesters are looking for a different type of task.
Baldur's Gate III will be released in 2023.
