The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been delayed for several months
Stealth action The Lord of the Rings: Gollun was supposed to be released in 2021. Then it was postponed to September 1 of the current year, and now the release should take place even later.
Deadalic Entertainment did not give a specific reason for the postponement:
"We are trying to live up to the expectations of our community and tell the untold story of Gollum according to J.R.R. Tolkien's vision.
To ensure the best possible experience, we've decided to delay the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum for a few months. We will let you know the exact date soon."
Probably, the delay was due to outdated graphics and gameplay - in the comments to the trailer, "Golum" is often called a project for PlayStation 2. Of course, it is unlikely that the developers will have time to redo the gameplay, but even a little to improve the graphics - very much.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will appear on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. It is not known whether the version for the hybrid console will have to wait longer than the others.
