Gameplay and details of Rollerdrome - a blood sport with shooting on rollers

The authors of the skater platformer OlliOlli World are working on Rollerdrome - an action-shooter about blood sport on rollers. The developers told more about their work and published gameplay excerpt.

• The action of Rollerdrome takes place in 2030. However, it seems that the development of mankind took a wrong turn somewhere - in the new world there is no Internet, smart phones and even video games. The most popular entertainment has become acrobatic duels on roller skates - rollerdrome. They distract the public from the arbitrariness of the corporations.
• The main character will be rollerdrome star Kara Hassan. In order to survive in the arena, she needs to move around a lot - with lead, missiles, and lasers pouring down fire from all sides.
• The arenas are spacious skate parks with everything you need for stunt work. There's also room for snipers, armored warriors, and jobs whose job it is to finish off the contestant.
• For each type of enemy, a weapon is appropriate. While a pistol can handle a rank-and-file opponent, enemies with shields will require a grenade launcher.
• To win, Kara must defeat enemy statues by performing complex pirouettes to entertain the crowd. Kissing on the move is quite difficult, so the girl is able to slow down time for a while.
• Kara's ammunition is limited. Once they run out, you have to perform tricks. The harder and longer they are, the more ammunition the athlete will get.
• If you kill opponents at short intervals, the score multiplier increases. This affects the final score and position in the table of favorites.

Rollerdrome will appear on August 16 on PC (Steam) and PlayStation.
