The authors of the eerie horror game Scorn from Ebb Software answered the most frequent users' questions, and also told about the development progress. According to the developers, the production is about to move to the final stage.

Below we have collected the main thing from the material:

  • The passage of Scorn takes an average of six to eight hours, depending on the speed of solving the puzzles and the style of the game.
  • The photo mode will not take you to the horror game. However, because of the emphasis on immersion, the project has a minimalistic interface, which should not interfere with taking atmospheric pictures.
  • Concept art on the alpha version of 2014 became a springboard for the team - those ideas have undergone changes and took shape, which gamers will be able to see in the release version of the game.
  • The developers don't consider Scorn a AAA project, calling it an independent product, which they are very passionate about. "We started out making the game with four people and a very small budget, but we've since grown into something that fits within the scope of a AAA project," the team writes.
  • The developers are currently putting the finishing touches, which include scrambled moments and some scenes. The studio is also keeping in touch with partners to make sure things run smoothly on all platforms.

System requirements for Scorn are already known, but Ebb Software has specified recommended PC specs to run the game in 4K at 60 fps:

  • Operating system: Windows 10/11.
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700.
  • RAM: 16 GB.
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (8GB).
  • DirectX 12.
  • Storage space: 50GB (SSD recommended).

More details Ebb Software promises to disclose after gamescom 2022 and just before the release on October 21 on PC and Xbox Series. Earlier gamers were shown a viewing trailer of the horror. The game will have to shoot, but the developers assure that their creation is definitely not a shooter.
