Fujitsu Lifebook WU-X / G2 is the world’s lightest 13-inch laptop, weighs only 634 grams
The Lifebook WU-X/G2 portable computer from Fujitsu comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) display and weighs 634 grams, making it the world's lightest laptop in its class. The new laptop is built on the Intel Alder Lake hardware architecture. A Core i7-1255U processor with ten cores and 4.7 GHz clock frequency can be installed – two productive and eight energy-efficient cores. Intel Iris Xe graphics accelerator is included in the chip.
The RAM LPDDR4X-4266 has a capacity up to 32 GB. Data storage is handled by a solid state drive with a capacity up to 2 TB. There are Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 wireless adapters, an SD slot, and a webcam shutter to protect against covert surveillance. The laptop is wrapped in a carbon fiber shell measuring 307 x 197 x 15.5mm with two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C connections, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port, an RJ45 jack for a network cable, an HDMI interface, and a 3.5mm audio jack
The battery has a capacity of 25 Wh. The device comes pre-installed with Windows 11 operating system. The price range starts at $1,370.
