As part of a new financial report, Activision said that Call of Duty will get some premium content in 2023.

It looks like we're talking about a big DLC or spin-off. According to journalist Jason Schreier, a full Call of Duty will not be released next year, so Activision will fill the gap with a smaller project.

Probably this project will be a standalone zombie mode Call of Duty. At the very least, as Schreyer and insider Tom Henderson assure us, there will be a conditional free-to-play game based on "Call of Duty" in 2023, with Treyarch involved in its development.

Treyarch is also making Call of Duty 2024 - possibly a new Black Ops.

Things haven't been going well for the series lately. According to the report, Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone improved last quarter, but PC and console sales remained low. Maybe the situation will be improved by Modern Warfare II, which will be released on October 28.
