UNITED24 Foundation bought for the Ukrainian military an evacuation helicopter Mi-2 AM-1, it costs $640 000

The Global Initiative for Assistance to Ukraine UNITED24  has purchased a helicopter for the Ukrainian military.

What is known

We are talking about Mi-2 AM-1 model. This helicopter is designed to evacuate wounded soldiers from the battlefield. According to the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the cost of Mi-2 AM-1 is 23 400 000 UAH or $640 000.

Mi-2 AM-1 - is one of the most popular helicopter models in Europe and Asia. Mi-2 AM-1 is a deep modification of the usual Mi-2. It is equipped with two propeller engines, a lightweight cockpit, and digital equipment. Mi-2 AM-1 is capable of flying at a speed of up to 200 km/h and covering a distance of 600 km.
