Rumor: Development of the new Perfect Dark is going well

The Pefect Dark relaunch was announced in December 2020, but since then there hasn't been much news about the spy action game, especially good news. Journalist Jez Corden from Windows Central decided to sweeten the pot:

Corden said the following on The Xbox Two podcast:

"We haven't heard anything from The Initiative - we've only heard rumors about layoffs at the studio and such. And oddly enough, someone contacted me and told me that development of Perfect Dark is going well."

It was recently reported that almost half of the workers - all of them in key positions - have left The Initiative - before us. Among the reasons cited were a lack of creative freedom and the slow pace of development.

Recall, Crystal Dynamics is involved in the development. Originally, the studio acted as an apprentice, but can now play a more prominent role.

We have no release date for Perfect Dark. Platforms are also not announced, but it is expected to be PC and Xbox Series.
