A few days ago, the insider The Snitch hinted about the upcoming announcement, related to the horror series Alone in the Dark.
It seems that the game will be officially presented at the THQ Nordic Showcase 2022 presentation tonight, and the first details and a few screenshots of the new game have already appeared online.
It is known that in the upcoming Alone in the Dark, which is likely to be a reboot of the franchise, the action will take place in a small town in the south of the United States. According to the story, a girl Emily Hartwood investigates the mysterious disappearance of her uncle, which asks for help from Detective Edward Carnby.
As is customary in games of this genre, the characters will find themselves in dark and spooky locations, among which will be an old mansion and a mental hospital.

The game is created by Pieces Interactive, and the script was developed by Michael Hedberg - the author of the famous thrillers SOMA and Amnesia, so you probably shouldn't worry about the horror component.
