Tom Henderson: Discord is scheduled to appear on PlayStation in the coming months, progress is "going very well

Famous gaming journalist Tom Henderson has reported that Sony will integrate Discord on the PlayStation in the coming months.

Here's What We Know

PlayStation Discord should be expected with the release of console update 7.00. For now, the nearest update, 6.00 is scheduled for September 2022. The appearance of Discord on PS has been in the testing phase for the past few months, and progress is reportedly "going very well."

Last May Sony announced a new partnership with Discord. Jim Ryan, president and CEO, said: "At PlayStation, we are constantly looking for new ways to allow players around the world to connect with each other, find new friends and communities, and share interesting experiences and unforgettable memories.
