When the stable version of watchOS 9 will be released and which Apple Watches will receive it

Following iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura, Apple has also revealed the release date of the watchOS 9 operating system.

When We Can Expect It

The firmware release will take place on the same day as iOS 16 - September 12. That is, next Monday.

The following smartwatch models will receive the update:

• Apple Watch Series 5
• Apple Watch SE
• Apple Watch Series 6
• Apple Watch Series 7.

As for the Apple Watch Series 3, unfortunately, the watch will no longer be supported.

Recall that with watchOS 9, the Apple smartwatch will get new watch faces, an updated workout app, an improved sleep monitoring mode, as well as atrial fibrillation (AFib) history and a medication section. It will track your medications, vitamins, and supplements.
