Poland offered its European allies to buy Krab self-propelled artillery units for Ukraine
Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak during the regular meeting of the Contact Group on Defense Issues of Ukraine at the American Ramstein base in Germany offered European partners to buy Krab SAU for the Armed Forces. About it writes European Pravda referring to the Polish edition WNP.
"This proposal is addressed to countries, especially Western Europe, which, by ordering Krab for Ukraine, can invest their money well."
Recall, the AFU is already using SAU Krab in the war against Russia. There are about 100 of them in Ukraine. It is a Polish self-propelled artillery unit of 155 mm caliber (compatible with NATO ammunition). It has the turret from the British AS-90 SAU and chassis from the Korean K9 Thunder SAU by Samsung Techwin. AHS Krab is capable of firing 6 rounds per minute. Maximum firing range is 40 km. The SAU crew consists of 5 people. AHS Krab can reach speeds of up to 67 km/h.
