Microsoft has begun testing changes to the Xbox Home interface. The changes will carry layout and design adjustments, making it easier to find games and programs on the console or navigate to the settings area. The company will be experimenting a lot with the user interface of the consoles in the coming months. Its final version should be expected in 2023.

"We know that the Xbox home page is the place gamers see every time they turn on the console and it's a very personal space," said Ivy Krislov, senior product manager for Xbox, "We're also always listening to our users to see how to improve their experience, so we're launching a month-long series of experiments to learn how to make a more personalized home screen and address some of the major trends and fan requests.

A random group of Xbox Alpha Skip-Ahead insiders will get access to some of the improvements as early as this week. The first update will bring a new return line at the top of Xbox Home, which includes recently played games and apps.
