The Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down an Iranian kamikaze drone Shahed-136 for the first time

The Ukrainian defense forces near the town of Kupyansk managed for the first time to shoot down an unmanned aerial vehicle that Russia bought from Iran.

Judging by the wreckage, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the Shahed-136 drone. It is a barraging munition that supports a swarm of drones. The Iranian army does not disclose the technical characteristics of the aircraft.
Shahed-136 is equipped with a triangular wing with stabilizers at the ends. The warhead is mounted in the front of the kamikaze drone. The optical guidance system is also located there. The propeller and engine are in the rear and provide the bomber with a range of 2,000 km.
