Kyrgyzstan opens Bayraktar TB2 drone base to be used by border guards

President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov inaugurated the first base of the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drones.

The press service of the president of the country told about it. The UAVs will be used by the Border Guard Service to control the state border. The drones will be operated by servicemen who have been trained accordingly.

"I have always said that Kyrgyzstan is a peace-loving country. I emphasize that our efforts to strengthen our Armed Forces are focused only on defense," said the president of the country.

By the way, Kyrgyzstan is the first CSTO country, which began to use Turkish drones.

Bayraktar TB2 is a Turkish striking operational-tactical UAV with internal combustion engine and a pusher type propeller. The drone has up to 4 guided munitions. It is capable of remaining in the air for 12 to 24 hours. Maximum control range is up to 150 km.
