Lithuania to transfer two additional batches of armored vehicles to Ukraine worth 200,000,000 euros
The Lithuanian government is preparing a new military aid for Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
The Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis told about it at the briefing with the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. It is about two additional batches of armored vehicles worth 200,000,000 euros. The first batch will arrive in Ukraine in the near future.
Unfortunately, Landsbergis did not specify which armored personnel carriers will be delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but it can be assumed that it is the American M113. This is a tracked armored vehicle, which is in service with the mechanized forces of the U.S. Army and other armies of the world. It was developed in 1957-1959 by the British company BAE Systems. There are about 80,000 such vehicles in the world.
