Lithuania is ready to help with the repair of self-propelled Panzerhaubitze 2000 artillery systems, which are used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Lithuanian Minister of National Defense, Arvydas Anušauskas, announced this.

Here's What We Know

It is assumed that Lithuania will repair Panzerhaubitze 2000 at Lithuania Defense Services. It was created in the early summer of 2022 by the German companies Rheinmetall and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann to provide logistics support for Lithuanian and NATO military equipment in the Baltic States. In addition to Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery systems, the almost 12,000-square-kilometer facility of Lithuania Defense Services can repair PUMA, Boxer, Bergenpanzer armored vehicles and German Leopard 2 tanks.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces received 18 155 mm PzH 2000 howitzers on tracked chassis. Germany transferred 10 artillery systems to Ukraine. The rest of the guns were delivered from the Netherlands.
