40 drones simultaneously bombarded a tank division - the U.S. tested a swarm of UAVs
On September 11, the United States tested a swarm of drones during a military exercise in California.
Here's What We Know
The U.S. military tested the combat capabilities of a group of 40 drones. They were equipped with MILES laser systems for casualty tracking, live ammunition and cameras. This was reported by Curtis Taylor, a brigadier general and commander of the National Training Center of the U.S. Army. He posted a video of a swarm of drones flying and added that in the next war, drones will be as important as artillery now.
The military exercise took place at the National Training Center range, where an urban area was simulated. During the battle, troops bombarded armored division positions with 40 drones. Unfortunately, the general did not publish this video.
