Lithuania plans to transfer 37 Warmate kamikaze drones to Ukraine.

This was announced by the Ukrainian Ambassador to the Republic of Lithuania Peter Beshta. The money for the drones was collected as part of the Legion Of Boom initiative. The cost of kamikaze drones is 1,000,000 euros. Deliveries of the devices should begin in October or November.

Warmate is a bomber ammunition from Polish company WM Group. The drone was created in 2012, but the popularity to the drone came only in 2020 after it demonstrated its effectiveness in the war in Karabakh. The Warmate has a wingspan of 1.6 m and weighs 5.7 kg. The bomber is launched from a small air catapult. The Warmate has a cruising range of 30 km and reaches a top speed of 150 km/h.
