Time to retire: Xiaomi Mi A3 will no longer receive Android updates, bug fixes and new security patches

Xiaomi recently released a new version of software for the old Mi A3 smartphone. As it turned out, it was the latest firmware for the device.

The Chinese manufacturer has officially announced that it is discontinuing support for the smartphone. It has already been added to the EOS product list (End Of Support List).

Recall, the Xiaomi Mi A3 entered the market in 2019 with Android 9.0 Pie on board. Now the smartphone runs on the operating system Android 11. The device has a 6-inch AMOLED display with an under-screen scanner, a Snapdragon 665 processor, a 4,030 mAh battery and a triple main camera of 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP.
