Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta is very popular on Steam, but gets mixed reviews from gamers
September 22 began beta testing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II for those who made the pre-order of the shooter.
Steam server statistics recorded a great interest of gamers to the game. The peak online beta Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II reached almost 110 thousand people. At the time of writing the news there are more than 43,000 players in the game.
Given that from September 24 to 26 everyone will be able to participate in the beta test for free, these figures are likely to increase significantly.
As for the reviews, the players have not come to a consensus. Some believe that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II perfectly develops the already familiar elements of the game, while others point out the project's secondary character. Many gamers have encountered technical difficulties, in some cases the game does not launch at all. But there is hope that before the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, that will take place on October 28, Activision will fix the main bugs.
The game will be available on PC and consoles PlayStation and Xbox both current generations.
