Bayraktar TB2 flies to West Africa - Nigeria gets six attack drones
The Nigerian Air Force is awaiting receipt of the Bayraktar TB2 Turkish strike drones.

Nigeria decided to buy Turkish drones after the unsatisfactory performance of Chinese attack drones. The country's Ministry of Defense has agreed with Baykar to supply six UAVs.
Turkey will soon start supplying Bayraktar BT2s to Nigeria. Soldiers are already completing drone training. In addition to the drones, Nigeria will receive two ground control stations.

The largest operators of the Bayraktar TB2, in addition to Turkey itself, are Ukraine and Azerbaijan. African countries are also beginning to actively purchase drones. Bayraktar TB2 drones are already in service in Morocco, Niger, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Togo, Djibouti, Rwanda, Angola and Tunisia.
